But there is a reason why an 17 yr old can't get insurance for a performance car :banghead: I bet he can insure something under 1400 cc's perfectly fine. Just annoys me when youngsters moan because they can't have what they want without resorting to insurance fronting or paying insane...

Yep, I had them at one stage however I've gone back to the old ones. Being slightly larger they have scratched the paintwork where they resonate against the body :(

Mine is in good nick and has similar mileage/age It's had all serious stuff done - cam belt etc I wouldnt take any less than £4800 for it as a guide. The steering wheels fall apart yes, but then the newer Mk2 ones melt in the summer ha ha
