If by character you mean that it keeps you on your toes by developing a new problem daily then yes, I agree. Went out for a meal with the missus earlier, pulled in to my drive and todays issue popped up - n/s headlight bulb gone. Looks like the bumpers coming off tomorrow ;) !

I will be the first to admit - the 197 isn't the best daily. Not even in the top 100. There is still something about it though that is stopping me from selling it/buying an alternative daily. What this is though, I don't know.

Many members on the forum have their Clio thanks to DTM. Honest guys who will always be straight up with you. If they say it's good condition then it is mate. They'd be honest regarding any defects, ie; curbed wheels and so on. Good luck and I hope it's for you!

Just out of interest, have you owned a smartphone before? Especially a Galaxy or iPhone? They're proper data hungry even when you don't think it's using data. 1GB is awfully low.
