You sure you did'nt leave on the brakes on standstill ? Or maybe the pads/brakes were sticking a bit to cause heating one part of disc ?
Yes he was saying the price for him was around 450 euros, meaning around 300 pounds (well , before the pound crashed und burned)

I remember people having problems. This battery when used for race cars only have to power up for start and lights eventually, but yours uses radio, aircon (? Cup?) ..

You made the right decision ; can'nt fault the OEM Cup suspension , really. When i changed to H&R i noticed how good the OEM cup suspension really is. Almost no difference . At high speed cornering/curves the H&R wins, far less body roll.

well i would have gone for springs AND shocks at the same time...
i think when doing the shocks , you will not have to do the wishbone thing (bushes etc. ) because OEM is FINE ! When worn i would MAYBE change them for harder stuff..

i have found (and so have many on here) that weightsaving is also quite an improvement !!
I put in two 6,5kg Sparco buckets and lost the back seat. Lost the OEM steeringwheel (airbag) and put in a light deep-dish one. The OEM exhaust is also heavy as s**t .
Mine was weighed at 960 kg...
^^ might all be very well, i would ask them to put on the splitter for the price they're asking . They cost a lot and the car just does'nt look right without it
