Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
Cheers chap
Haha, nooooo I just did a photoshop when I was bored at work a couple of weeks ago just to get an idea of how it’d look. Nearly there, just waiting on the paint
it'll be the graphics chipset mate, they cook constantly, although it's mainly in the lower model down from yours.
The old latitudes do it as well. I'd put money on it
edit: if the hard drives ticking, it's another possibility) You could try loading XP onto a USB pen drive and see if the...
out of interest what model is it?
Edit: Reading fail, ok there was a big recall on these when they were launched. It's a common fault. Seeing as it's really irractic too it makes sense..
You CAN replace the graphics controller or get someone to, but it's easier to replace the motherboard
Re: Project 172k Trophy, & its endless track abuse
I agree mate, just saying the cup setup is fairly straight forward once all parts in hand.
The kit on Dave's car looks well put together
if in doubt floor it is more than just a saying lol
If you actually watch the earlier part of the video and don't skip to the accident theres nothing all that suspect about his driving, he obviously just had a blondey lol
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner

Well it's getting there...slowly getting dribs and drabs done but few weeks from now and it should be ready (For BTM to disect lol. thanks again to Fred for his patience in letting me leave my crap on his floor...
LOL ^ I need to replace mine for when it's back on feet but unsure of what to get too. Think I'll probably stick with PE2s all round to be fair.. then maybe something more fancy when I'm feeling cocky
dark horse of the tyre world apparently ^ The sapphire cosworth boys run these all the time
edit: Was on call Saturday so didn't get to see your beast :( the day will come x
Re: Project 172k Trophy, & its endless track abuse
This ^ it's not a ball ache at all. Just have to make sure you route the pas safely is all
P.S the pick up is noticeable with it gone though! or I found it was
it could work, but being honest that does need a lot of tidying up
needs some better pics. Odd colour choice, but like I say could work quite well with the right feet and trinkets. Also you should of taken the skirts off to paint them, they're only rivets!
brilliant matey, that center console should look amazing. I'm with Conlon, if you can't stomach the extra a heated windscreen would save you a lot of ball ache
