If it's just what's underneath the headlight, I polished something similar out.
Your shafts don't chafe your chassis legs do they? I know Mr. Northloop gave me some words of warning running too low.
I run B14's, 2118s and Direzza's, I'm not toooo low and get zero rubbing/chaffing with the big shoulder'd tyre I have.
To add some useful information, the only way I stopped the gear stick slack / movement / exhaust/subframe noise was to add the vibra ones. They are amazing pieces of kit.
2118's are ET43, but you can get 1.2's in ET35 for a little more 'poke' out of the arch.
205 width can be done, depends on your setup.

Powerflex 'black' for the ream beam, rear top mounts, and all the ARB bushes.
Brembo grooved discs at the front
New rear calipers, disks and pads
Caliper rebuild at the front
Cobra fixed buckets
4 point harnesses, and rear...
