Ive got the k-tec clutch too...is a little snappy but Im used to it now. I only use 2.5-3k for a quick getaway in my car...trying to feed the throttle in and the clutch out at a similar pace to avoid lighting them up.

How about on a converted 2.0 16v valver???;) Sounds ok to me, never take the re-newal though, I guarantee youll get it cheaper...try Brentacre, they were good for me.

There is a big difference once into 3rd gear believe me, Ive done plenty of comparisons with a valver. The difference would be quite large at 100 mph..maybe not 10 car lengths but a lot...

Id say the williams has the advantage from the top of 2nd then its an obvious advantage in 3rd upwards...the willy will just keep pulling away.

to be fair mk2 golf gtis are exceedingly slow...apparantly they only weigh 980kgs though..less than a 172 Cup. They only became obese in mk3 form...

A manual 330ci (2 up, me on my own) took about 3 car lengths out of my car 40-125 on a private road near me. My car was running 14.9 for the 1/4 at the time...so Id say they are quite quick.
