Re: Kieran's Iceberg 172 Project
First couple of pics with the f1s and I wasn't too sure, but the last one parked up makes up for it :) you keeping them silver or changing colour?
Nice idea on spraying the interior parts too. Gets rid of that horrid grey lol!
This. Im like you, like them with and without. But there only around £15 so not a major loss plus you'll always resell it on here if you don't like it :)
All sounds good but leave the wing mirrors standard. Then if you decide to paint the bonnet they won't look to out of place. All other mods sound good though. Looking forward to seeing these brakes as I'd like to do the same. I like the wilwoods but there is just something about red brembos the...
Like many have said it would work better with a few more carbon bits. For me the car looks to "clean". It needs darker wheels for it to blend in more, if that makes sense?
I'm not to keen on the dash strips but the wheels and steering wheel look fab IMO. As you said before the blue trim matches nothing on the car.
What next? Rs2?
As above, the tunepoint will connect into cd changer port and replaces it as such. It is pricey at £180+ but I bought mine off a member off here for £60 delivered. They come up for sale every now and again on here or eBay.
But like said above connect 2 does the same thing, just isn't a Renault...
I have the cabasse h/u and have fixed a Renault tunepoint in under the glove box. Plugs into where the cd changer lead goes and can have either phone/mp3 or usb memory stick in and still have all stalk control :)
A friend of mine had the same problem a few days ago and paid £25 for the correct key from local Renault garage. Not saying you have to, but it's something to bear in mind.

Erotic sex was sooo last year! Lol
I've had a small dent in the roof ever since I've owned it and have bodged windscreen rubbers (will show you Sunday) and I'll be needing my car park dent removed so will get them to do the roof at the same time.

3rd is good for me :)
Remember seeing that a few years ago! 3:30 in and the sun is in he's eyes so he just takes one hand off the wheel to shield from the sun, still doing silly speed and having a stupidly high shear drop next to him! Proper driving!!
Re: Kieran's Iceberg 172 Project
Sound good man. I know the reason for keeping the car etc but how comes the change of mind of the look of it? Good to hear the roof being done. I would like mine done too so let me know the cost when done?
Lol, the joys of being low eh! Looks good, but does have it's inconveniences! Can you not widen the exhaust cut-out to make the surround fit? Also what coilovers are they?
I've only just seen this thread. The white looks so good against the blue and I know I mentioned it before but the lows look sooo much better! :) What's the ride like?
