I got one and didnt notice a difference until I dragged up a straight where I usually hit !00 before, I was upto !00 with loads of road to spare reckon I could get 105-110 now.Good value for money compared to other chips as well about 190 fitted.
At the moment they are on the middle setting, 16 point adjustable I think god knows what the hardest setting is like. But might try other settings when Ive had torsion bar adjusted and 4 wheel alignment done.
Do all these mods just raise your insurance up to Rsi and valver levels anyway? Although I did de-cat my old VTR and that did make a pretty big difference, but chipping and headwork etc, is just a waste of money on a 1.4 isnt it.
The ride is much harsher and the car isnt much good on bumpy b roads. But I could soften it but on decent roads it is MUCH better before I used to get understeer and tyre squeal maybe the standard dampers were knackered. At the moment the car is lowered 40mm front and standard rear, might lower...
Thanks for sorting that for us Nick, dont think itll be a problem unless I go off roading. But I put the clio through its paces tonight with the coilovers the handling is much better than standard no lean through high speed corners.:)

How can you get group 12 insurance on a Willy engined clio, I thought they just used the insurance group of the car the engine came from? I pay 1350 TPF&T 23 with 2 yrs NCB, but licence isnt exactly clean.
