    Clouded headlifht

No idea. Only started using the AF stuff this week. Detailing chat on here seems to suggest 3 months longevity which seems quite good.

    Clouded headlifht

The yellowness seems to be inside mate. I did them twice and it made no difference. :( I'm using Auto Finesse sealant at the minute. Seems to be pretty good tbh.

    Clouded headlifht

I have to disagree. I've yet to see a set done by hand that don't look crap. Either that or they weren't bad enough to warrant a heavy sand and then machine polish.

    Clouded headlifht

Masking tape all around the headlight. 800 or 1200 wet and dry paper and keep going and going and going until the whole face of the light is smooth and not patchy. Get some Cutting compound (heavy polish) on a machine polisher and use plenty of water as the plastic gets mega hot. If you burn...

About £50 a wheel give or take.

    Williams - Auction

That's a £5-6k car if whoever restores it does it properly. The downside is, I expect it will sell for £2500+ leaving little to no room for profit if you're intending on punting it on. If you were planning on buying it to keep, you can buy a reasonably tidy one for £3500. I bet the wheel...

    ***How much is it worth?***

What would I get for these mods? I'm not usually into mods so i'm a bit unsure/out of touch with second hand values?? I'm jacked off with idiots on ebay so I think i'm going to break it. Wheels/tyres, exhaust and decat, coilovers, HID's, 172 rear beam with discs and pads, ph2 172 front and...

Proper hard sellers they are! 2.0 non sport means that; 25 year olds would rather have a 197/200. Old people want fuel economy and young people can't insure them. All I can say is, good luck! Lol.

Little photshoot after a wheel refurb!

182's came out on a 53 plate. But there were very few of them. Back on topic though, Avon and Nangkang tyres?! That must be a handful! lol

    HELP!

Authentique (base model, avoid!) Dynamique I don't think they went any higher than that in a 1.2. They did some Ltd edition ones too; RipCurl amongst others.

No mate. The only garages available were from the council and in proper rough parts of town. It's just one of those things. If I wasn't selling the house then we wouldn't be having this discussion. But I am and I won't be able to afford a bigger house AND a garage. So because my wife is Keith...

1989 Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia. £1 start no reserve...

Not one person offered to store it for me. I had plenty of 'internet interest' but nobody pm'd me. What people say and actually do are two very different things Dave you know that! Anyway, storing it 3 hours away from my house is pointless. What if it gets damaged? Or I want to use it on a...

I don't need the money, I need the garage back! If I needed the money then I'd be glad to get rid of it.

Sold. :(:(:(:( The guy who won it only lives 5 miles away up the road and I guess that means i'll still get to see it. Hopefully. Genuinely feel gutted. :dapprove:

Caring for an alcantara steering wheel

I find that the best way to care for your steering wheel is to make love to it. Sing it songs, rub you freshly shaven scrotum all over the bobbly Alcantara. Show it that you want it, make it feel speshul.

197 engine and box into 172

Fred (iirc) always said the box fouls massively on the chassis leg, meaning lots of fabrication? Flan cut a load about when he fitted 20VT running gear didn't he? I can't remember the title of his thread though.
