I rung Adam (I believe), a man some people recommended to get cheap genuine renault parts from, and told him I have a 1.4 16V Clio Alize, and he told me this was a rare car?
Is it?
Picked it up for a grand, with 64,000 miles off a family friend.
This is over a year ago now though, so it's on...
I'd like to know how much money he will pay the family of the person he slams into a wall, that'd be an interesting negotiation.
My thinking is the same with drink driving.
If you wanna get drunk and smash your car into a brick wall and kill yourself, be my guest, but don't hit some innocent c**t.
Not so much the speed hating, more the fact he can't string a sentence together and doesn't know too much about cars makes me wonder if I'd like to be the c**t on the motorway that he shoots past at 1** mph.
I'm guessing he's maybe 17/18 and just got his license.
It's the whole "new drivers...
Who gave this gimp a license?
Please take it away again.
Idiots like you buying powerful cars and having an IQ as low as the temperature in an igloo are the stupid pricks that put up other peoples premiums.
I've written the message board from scratch, but I can't think of an effective way to add image tags automatically.
Saves people having to type out "<img src="Lynkzzzz.gif>" manually.
Hey, I need to test someone elses coilpacks on my car (1.4 Alize 2001), is anyone in the Berkshire area free any time soon to let me try this before I go out and buy some?
A toby carvery in it for ya! lol.
Just like vBulletin does, I want the user to be able to click a box, inset their url to their image, and it then adds "<img src="their url here">"
Best way?
You win a legitimate signed photo of Nick Clegg, and a man to my words, here it is;

It does need a new set of plugs too to be fair.
General service.
No one in my area has a gearbox mount that they will have in stock today, so going to take a trip down the scrappy.
What tool(s) will I need? Easy to get too? Battery out, then battery tray isn't it?
Cheers
Cheers Rob and Dave.
As far as I can tell, it hasn't gone through the clear coat, can't feel scratches etc, so I think its just been lightly scraped across whatever it was!
It's back passenger side. Ive only really had access to it in the dark, well, only been around it in the dark.
By chance, I was checking tyre treads, and bam. Straight in my face.
Part of.
The gearbox mount has gone, which is probably from impact as he launched it up a pavement.
And it needs a service, new plugs, new oil, oil filter, and air filter.
As some of you may, or may not be aware, my car was stolen and recovered.
I hadn't noticed this, until now.
Before:
I then used some Halfords "Colour restore" stuff on it. (Cheap, and you get what you pay for etc) and have managed to get it like this;
Not too sure what it's been dragged...
Have it going on a Diag machine shortly, then up on the ramps, so fingers crossed.
I'll keep you posted, to let you know if your prediction was correct. :)!
