looks nice mate! wish my bodyshop could do the bloody mirrors as well as that, they cant seem to get them righ without them running, cracking etc. Agree with ali on the lights, think standards would suit it better
yeah females always get the better bloody deal lol. i find it odd how on average my policy drops 500 quid if i add the girlfriend (she has got 4 years no claims however) but didnt think the diff would be that much
well they were done online at elephant and admiral, where you can buy online. - so if you bought them online they'd have to honour their prices. they do however make sense as it goes up with the ever increasing amount of mods.
wouldnt really call it a performance car, as ive already tried to...
right then, just done some online quotes...
modded 1.2 - 785 with gf on policy
172 - 1499
172 - 1085 with gf on policy
172 - 1500 with gf and all mods i'd probably do to it
interesting :D
998 :O getting cheaper.
who are you both insured with, as im not sure who to start ringing.
also, what sort of mileage has been declared, as i would probably need at least 12k
that was the answer i was looking for :D
in going to a 172 i'd only use mods like my rear bumper, v6 spoiler etc. so not really big mods. whereas on the clio i have to declare carbon bonnet, smoothing, coilovers, interior etc.etc.
i think i could sell my car, with the mods seperate, and...
ok then people... i'm 21, got 0NCB.
looking at two possibilities of:
a) keep my car (1.2 16v) and build up some NCB before moving onto something different. due to all my mods insurance isnt going to be cheap. so at least £1000
b) sell it and move onto a mk1 172. use the majority of...
prob just as cheap to get a stainless to be honest. For a stainless your looking at around 150 - 200 for a full cat back (cheap make obviously), unless your making the car standard of cause lol
i resorted to using a dremel once on my old wheels. got rid of the stuff that was well and truly stuck on, you just have to be ultra careful not to hold it in the same spot as it may eat a chunk out lol
almost certainly the last resort before having a refurb :P
at my local renault they just use an oil drum of texaco 10/40 for all the cars, but they can order in 1l/5l bottles, as i always buy my elf excellium from them
declare all your mods, i think people must be retards sometimes not too. it really isnt worth the hassle. Put it this way if u crash into someone with no insurance your pretty much dicked have to go through courts and all sorts. Tesco charge a lot of extra premium for mods, and only allow 5 iirc...
yeah should do, depends on offset, i think the offset for the valvers is 37.5 as is the offset for the mk2. dont know why you'd wanna put 17s on a valver to be honest though
ghey ;) i've got orange wingmirrors on mine at the mo, at least noones gonna knock em off!
i'm also forcing andy to put them on his car in bright yellow when i've done with them :D
