Not quite! Instagib was the game mode where everyone got what appeared to be a shock rifle and no other weapon.
Except that shock rifle provided one shot kills. No damage - simply disintegration! :P
The bodywork is top notch - you have to give him that....

Loved Port Valdez on BC2 myself - my favourite map in that game. The very start of that map was epic - be it defending or attacking.
I know where you're coming from there - I still have a dabble against bots on that map every now an then, but with the low-gravity modifier added :)
Have you...
I was going to put the El Alamein map from the original Battlefield 1942 in here. It's still a very good, large map but in hindsight is far too aircraft-centric. Get a good couple of flyers on there and they can rinse the opposition.
Addicted - the rooftop map on SoF2 that was in both the demo...
What's yours? Any platform, any game. What map when loading gets you thinking of what to do the minute the game launches?
Maybe you have a favourite vantage point or a set sequence that often works in your favour - should the map be on an RTS game, for example. The same could also be said about...
You've got a hell of a lot more patience than me, Andy! I just started the warchief stuff and got so close to killing one before I finally died, that I just immediately switched the game off and played something else. The prospect of pressing X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, quick Y&B, X, Y, X, X, Y...
Well my original 360 pad almost met that Input Graveyard in the Sky earlier! I never loose it badly either - but this just tips me over the edge. I'm constantly feeling like I'm two or three processes ahead as to what's happening on the screen and I don't think I've ever used the 'Y' button so...
Same here m8. Trying to ignore most of the niggles and persevere with it! Reverting as much as possible to the classic mode has helped tremendously - as has bypassing the account sign-in at the start and stuff.

10 hours in an I'm a midge's dick from uninstalling it.
My god is it a bloody frustrating game to play!
Not sure I'll have the patience to get anywhere near the end, I reckon.
Cheers - I didn't realise that you needed to build up the hit streak beforehand - that makes sense!
I know what you mean about the respawning - L4D2 which is rife with respawning - is one of my all time favourtite games. But in SoM - it appears to me that the respawning it just too frequent...
Is there a reason why the Y&B button combo doesn't always work for executions? Is there a cool-down period between when you can use them?
Also just had a mission that simply involved me running between three sets of uruk scouts on the back of those dog-things and killing them. Fair enough. But...
We did think about that - but surely it shouldn't come to that? Besides, Shelley has an outstanding credit on her account with iTunes vouchers and from what I can gather, it would take Apple themselves to transfer that balance onto another account.
The Apple Store suggested that we call the...
Chaps,
Are any of you a genius on iTunes? I've literally spent nearly three hours this afternoon trying to solve the issue we have with my girlfriend's Apple devices and it's driving me frigging insane. In a nutshell, we want to delete every bloody tune and start again. Balls to downloads and...
Erm.
Another hour and a half into it - I'm still awaiting for the 'wow' moment to arrive. I despise the insta-spawn of the enemy. For three times on the trot, I wiped out three troops of inbound green knobheads, only to venture a little too far on the bit of map I was on - and that became the...
I was a bit too eager in the sale. I bought it when it was down to £24.99 (I think) and then the following bloody day, it dropped to £17.99 - typical!
I'll probably have another bash on it later today when I'm back home.

Put three hours into on the PC this afternoon. Early impressions are very good, though as with the vast majority of 3rd-person perspective games, the camera angle can become infuriating at times.
The control input I find to be a little haphazard too. It's one of them that neither works...
Lol - standard Cookie Issue, iirc.
Just got this on the Steam sale - not a huge saving that some of them can be, but 25% off is better than nothing.

Cheers!
So far, it's not bugged me as much as it did before. I'm all for change, but previously I saw hardly any benefit for that change over Windows 7.
I'll see how I persevere with it!

Greenlight definitely had the edge when I had both the 182 and Evo insured.
I'm still insured with them just for the Clio now as the Evo is sold. Neil is very helpful and gets back to you quickly with any questions.

Got Win 8.1 finally installed at the weekend. What tricks & tips are people using on a daily basis?
I would like to get some popular keyboard short-cuts memorised - along with shifting that pointless start menu. I'm using a traditional monitor - not a touch screen, thanks. ;)
