I tried to convince him to get his standard wheels done in anthracite (16s) and properly slam it, however the 18s dont look as bad as i thought they would, kinda suit the car!
His house is mint, double garage and more than enough room for 6 cars on the driveway, house isnt bad either ;)
the focus has been very nicely done! its on coilovers 18" kei racing wheels, st170 spoiler, reiger grille, magnex exhaust, angel eyes, rear lights and now fully colour coded. Plans to cover it in carbon, carbon wings and carbon bonnet. He was gonna get a kit, but luckily i persuaded him against...
lol my V6 spoiler is sitting in the garage, as i said i'm just waiting for a new light for it
lawrence - seriously your bonnets are lovely the weave is absolutly awesome!
focus lights are angel eyes, but i agree they do suit the car nicely, hes getting new rears as well, totally smoked...
My mates been off work this week, so i've colourcoded his car for him. Really impressed with the results! He prepped em all for me, and i sprayed em (as i'm too lazy to prep it myself lol), only cost around the 50 quid mark for materials in total so bargain!
I've just had my bits back from...
used to have those wipers on my car, but they had the carbon spoilers as well. do look mint, but sadly the rubber wore really quickly. in fairness with the price i paid for mine i doubt they were genuine lol
not much more to do to mine. just had bumpstrips redone, along with bumpers etc a little while ago. got to have my current mirrors sorted as the paints crap, and then ive got new wheels ordered off john. have just cancelled my rear lights, but will be getting them as soon as they're...
dickie - my bumper did exactly the same (i've had the same done only to a clio) and had to get it redone by the bodyshop, pain in the ass but does look good :)
lol, i've got a few pics too will get up later! looks mint, glad we decided to go with the black strut brace and not the red one, would have been a bit ott ;)
cant really see on the pics either, but the black is actually ford panther black which is a black full of siilver and blue flake...
you really have to go to a recommended bodyshop, i've finally found one i'm happy with. he delayed me with some bits for only about 3 days last week, and knocked me 100 quid off the price, cant say better than that :)
i've had no problems with my powerflow, the welds are top notch. Good thing is they can do whatever you want, sound wise, tailpipe (they have a wide range) etc etc. I've got a stealth system and really rate it. Depends on your local dealership, go for whos recommended
spray your own strut brace you lazy git ;)
thanks rich, will bare that in mind, theres so many products out there nowadays its hard to get your head around lol
you just know i'll end up visiting you for a pc ;)
been looking at the kit off alex which is a 200g bar (i think) with the lubricant, but carwashnwax have offered me a good deal on their clay and lubricant :)
not really sure what to go for regarding the polish, so may just stick with the scratch x as its cheap and does seem to do the job nicely.
looking for a scratch x alternative for use by hand. have been having a look on carwashandwax and saw a SPIDER-ONE STEP SPIDER-WEB SCRATCH & SWIRL REMOVER 16OZ (SPDR ) but didnt know if you can use it by hand, or if you needed a machine polisher.
any suggestions appreciated, and any links...
its obviously illegal to put those sort of plates on a new car, as 'i dont think' they have a reflective backing, which is an automatic law infringement. Not sure if anyones been stopped because of them however, try people like scott 16v who had em on his naples :) (i think)
