My dad had an SL500, excellent cruisers and relative good value for money. A bit to big and bulky for my tastes though. Personally i think the V6 has a much more evocative shape, the SL is generic, and a bit too pimp as with most modern Mercs IMO!

It does feel small in the Clio, and particularly vunerable when you get back in it after spending time in a bigger car! Can't say i share your feelling with the Ibiza, the chassis is poor and i don't like the way it looks. Hate that it has no arches whatsoever, even the Cupra looks tame to me.

When you lower your Clio you will naturally get some negative camber, no bad thing. Getting the tracking done is all you need to do really.

Personally think reps are fine as long as you don't have 2.0 badges. As said, people forget about insurance, and what young petrol head wants to save for a 182 for a few years?! That would feel like a lifetime.

It says you should still clean it, but they should last up to 35k. Personally i'd change it as often as a normal filter.

FK Coilovers are not that expensive really, especially at 2modified.com. At the end of the day the FK's give a better ride and make the car handle better, there is just no point throwing away your money on Apex s**t. Just spank it on a credit card!
