LY suits the 182 shape well too. It's a shame it was so expensive, it would be nice if there were more to go around! I spotted a LY 182 on the M1 way back in 2005 and went to my local Renault dealer the next day. Unfortunately the child seat wouldn't fit the clio so I bought a Meg 225 instead...
I guess the flamer search didn't go well then? That looks great though, for me the colour is right up there with PB and LY. You also got a bit of a bargain, there's one on ebay on 46k for £3500 and one on auto trader on 26.5k for a ridiculous £8990!
I've just read all this thread too. I recall the respray thread from last year but didn't know there was a full history of your journey with the car. It's a real credit to you and the shared passion for cars you had with your son. Maybe we'll see it at CSF one year?
6.5 years I guess you do like it then! The fabia splitter is a nice cheap way of finishing off the front end. So what made you join the club after so long in the wilderness? I always join an owners club just for the discounts on parts and insurance [emoji16]
My bumper fell on the house when I took ot of last year. Oh well, it needs replacing anyway. Not sure if I want to go carbon on the outside as its a common route now. Hmm.
