Doesn't have to be hunters to be good, they just need to be able to do a good job which the other place dont when it comes to alignment in my experience!
Just buy one and turn up at home with it. Surely you could release a couple of £k from yours by swapping to a 1*2 which would certainly help towards a house ;)

I had this problem:
From the +ive terminal there are 2 wires.
One goes to the engine/alternator, one to supply the accessories (I think)
Disconnect -ive terminal on battery
Disconnect the +ive one that supplies accessories (this goes towards the fuse box)
Put multimeter on current (amps)...
I (foolishly) gave my private plate away with the RB, but I now want it again, the current owner mentioned it the other day and I'm just waiting for her to get back to me.

Changed the bonnet over today, and did the badges yesterday.
Looks a lot better, really coming together.
This picture was taken before I messed with the bump stops, so its looking a bit better now. Its still not 100% perfectly aligned...
To be fair its stuck to schedule, 2 year interval.
Although I know what you mean, but the previous owner has only stuck to what they were told! Shame about the cambelt service though.

Little update, welcome to the dirtiest engine bay in the world. This is a car that been main dealer looked after from new, by the same dealer, and its a right mess. Living on the coast won't have helped it.
