Lots on ebay normally
These dont always include the bulb holder/back plate which is different between the models.
Just had a call from the service manager at my local Renault dealership, turns out when Car Select sold me the car they replaced the alternator however did not fit it correctly - (bracket). This has twisted therefore causing damage to the tentioner and so on. The cam belt is not being replaced...
Erm yes... well mine only.
The tensioner is visually misaligned resulting in damage.
Has been diagnosed by Renault today and judging by the noise the car makes Im pretty sure!
Apparently its a common problem on the 172 engine - took that comment with a pinch of salt though.

There for when you have a lady in the back seat and want to dim the lights to create atmosphere I think.
:D
Has anybody had any dealings with an extended warranty provided by Car Select?
My mind needs putting to rest - Cambelt needs replacing at 33000 miles :o
I cant afford to be out of pocket this month
Springs were from http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/MSW and are £145.43 inc VAT & fast delivery.
Lowered it myself with help from NikC172 so its cost me a few beers ;)
The lowering guide in the members area was a great help too.
I have Eibach Pro springs fitted.
Doesnt lower the car much as you can see (20mm Front, 15mm Rear) but the performance - wow :D

*Springs are new so may not have fully settled yet though.
The technical name for this is "fronting"
Be a man and take it the hard way...
Most of us here have done and were now being rewarded with reasonable quotes due to longer NCB.
Insurance premiums are calculated on the risk exposure. Fact, young drivers are a high risk and attract high...
