Its pretty good providing you download the updates on a regular basis. The pocketgps POIs with audiable warnings have saved me on more then one occasion :D

It does indeed have a postcode search. Nothing else is needed unless your windscreen is heated or solar reflective. - Then you may need an external aerial.
