the dvd ones i have seen aren't 100% great at panning fast, they don't seem to like it, for trackdays, can't really go wrong with a minidv digital tape one mate, the one clart linked or the sony one you linked in your first post would be fine!

yes as long as it has a usb2.0 connection, video used to be transferred by firewire as USB 1.1 wasn't fast enough but now they are the same speed to tend to find one or the other or both, mainly firewire though i think.

those are solid state though are they, surely they are the ones with built in memory recording in Mpeg4? those are digital tapes, i have a sony minidv and they are very good, that oe for £200 odd i paid around 1k for 5 years ago!

never liked amazon, never trust a company that make it that hard for you to call them. i always use play.com and gameplay, gameplay have NEVER let me down for delivering a new game the day before release.
