Ross, please do not hijack my thread, if you haven't got anything constructive to say, please don't say it at all, this is not a GDI vs. Yozzasport or a Ross vs. Yozzasport thread.
If I see you post one more time in here I will have no choice but to hand you a warning for a personal attack on a...
LOL, just been on a fiesta ST forum and they were talking about a guy with Kawasaki green wheels on a low clio in their chat window, so funny that i could tell them i knew who it was, small world eh mate!
Fred mate, hopefully you know I have no beef with you or Yoz, I was VERY grateful for you guys helping me out on that day as I really was stuck and don't know what i would have done without you, it really was appreciated!
And i had already decided that i was going to try them anyway at some...
yeah, can we keep on topic please, don't want any yozzasport bashing as my problem is not with them, its me and me not getting on with the pads!
Anyone know any good wheel refurbers or any 182 wheels going cheap?????
agreed, not a yozzasport problem, mine as i had no brakes and needed to get home and the only pads yozza had were these, and if they didn't ahve the dust problems i would never have changed them or gone back, it simply ruins the experience for road use so i would agree, only really to be used on...
completely agree with you Nik, and i've used powerspray too and it was good but i just left mine 1 or 2 days too long one time and it simply will not come off, no matter what i use, seems much worse when it rains too, guess that helps the brake dust hang around and settle more?
i agree and i don't jsut pootle around town, mine is driven very hard and has been on many track days, just not with these brakes but i have been working them very hard, and i never faulted the performance of them, they are fantastic, its all the other sh1t that goes with them that p1ssed me...
no i haven't mate, didn't really get the chance plus it would have been even more money, tbh, i am really happy with the setup i now have of the renault pads and brembo discs, works very well.
Just hope now you have said that that i don't still have the dust problem by keeping the brembo discs!
yes they are as long as you have a set of wheels on that you don't mind damaging without hours of care each week.
Didn't get a chance to try them on track which was a shame but on the road I could brake stupidly late onto roundabouts
mines been using a lot of oil recently and my mpg has also dropped, but i put that down to me driving like a loon, maybe its the weather at the moment?
also depends on how they calculated the power at the flywheel, they might not have added the correct losses for the car and the conditions? Would have been better if you had another 182 there to compare it to.
i wouldn't worry too much as cocopops had his RR'd with mine when we had just got them and mine got 184 and his got 15X and he was well disappointed but when we went out for a blast his accelerated as fast as mine so it must have been something else.
If you are really worried then get it tested...
Right, now I have been using the Yozzasport Brake kit of Standard Brembo Discs and Performance Friction 97 pads and I thought I would let you know about how I got on as I have now had them changed.
I will start with a positive, if you want brakes with very good stopping power and thats all you...
i have the MS one for the 360 and i must say it is very good, literally plugged it in and didn't have to do anything further to make make it work, so easy and is fast.
how about changing or uprating your brake fluid, mine were crap after a year and i had the fluid changed (it was cooked) and they were back to the same again!
