i have exactly the same problem!
cant work out if its coming from the front or back tho! i also have brembo max discs.
im still waiting for a solution. the discs and pads still have plenty of wear and i cant see any cracks. im confused.
its a very loud vibrating noise from braking at motorway speeds
i weighed my standard 182 wheels against the new ultraleggera's and there was quite a big difference. the biggest difference was no brake fade which i had been getting on the 182 wheels and the oz's felt snappier on braking, acceleration etc. i didn't expect to notice any difference at all, but...
if i was prepping mine for track i would get rid of any unnecessary weight, decent tyres, good brake setup, buckets, harnesses, track only (2118's on 888's)/road only wheels/tyres, then i would look at suspension. in that order.
sounds like you are pretty good at karting, shouldn't really need...
is it going to be a pure track car? the title would suggest that its going to be on track occasionaly.
you can have a lot of fun on track with the standard setup. however... i would say brake setup and decent tyres are the first things to go for.
my girlfriend drove my car and i was in the passanger seat. my car felt twice as quick when i wasn't behind the wheel! try that or driving something slower for half an hour.
or do like i do, get the most mpg out of your car most of the time (average 37mpg for me) then stick your foot down from...
they are not 'fast' cars. they have a fair bit of pace but i would never consider my 182 a fast car. you get used to the speed and the feel of them so they dont seem as fast, like pretty much any car.
there are much quicker cars on the raod, but a 172 cup in the hands of the right driver is a...
i have t1-r's on the front and falkens on the rear.
when i had falkens all round the car would understeer. with the t1-r's on the front the car now oversteers! hello drifting! lol
i have no problems with the t1-r's.
i would wait till your tyres need replacing
i love your car but tbh all of those mods seem pretty pointless.
i guess the wheelnuts will look neater.
milltek is as good as any and i dont like really loud exhausts.
reg plate is ok i guess.
showcage, pointless. looks ok but waste of time
love the numberplate!
when i read the thread title i was thinking 'oh no, not decals. i hate decals' lol
but...
they suit the car with the wheels. looks nice
