ive got a 1.2 16v mk3 to fly about in, its awesome! after 60k miles its loosened up brilliantly, and weird thing is it has much more torque than the 1.2 16v mk2 i drive about in :S 25mph in th gear is no problem in the mk3 but not in the mk2, must be the different ratio gearbox?

non RS MK3's drive much better than non RS MK2's, much better gearbox/linkage, better engine mounts, better ride quality, better steering just feels much better, never driven a 197 so cant compair that.

not far from my house i was going to pop up and watch too!! pretty tight isnt it! u seem to be a pretty good driver though! looks standard suspension wise too which shows just how good it is and how there is no need for fancy coilovers!

when we were at falkland all the results seemed acurate, i got 173bhp from a standard 172 (well it had an ITG pannel filter)

nokia charger from your local car phone wearhouse will probably give more gains than any mod you could do to the 1.2 16v which is made of cheese. i had a cooper S supercharger for mine just never got the time to do it lol

like your car, if it had the black headlights it would look 10x better though!

cheers mate will do, i know their was a bit of movement but i just dont remember it being quite like this, its not that its bad just not 100% it did have powerflex lower bushes before though so maby i was just used to that piece of s**t.

dont fit the plug holes as well as the standard leads i also noticed that when fitting some for my mate. they do look pretty but the renault ones are expensive for a reason

dealer only part as far as im aware. wouldnt bother with any cheap copys anyway.

not true it will be fine only need an adaptor if you want to use the screen and steering controls i needed a little ariel adaptor for my old pioneer one, dont know about others (think it was a pc97 or something along those lines)

only use the standard NGK plugs, these engines dont like anthing else!

if exhaust is blowing at the joint between manifold and cat then yes it will make a big difference

In my experiance from having a play with few uk wrx's they have plenty grip and power to pull them out the bends but the clio appears to be able to corner just as quick if not quicker, and straight line there isnt much in it, impreza slightly quicker on the newer models. my mate sold his 172...

dont get the relocated induction kit, you will lose torque

ive just blown my load at dickys iceberg. the cup suits the magnex too looks good when its sitting right!

it tries to kill me mid corner when ive forgot to switch it off!! your flying towards a bend big smile on your face ready for it and just as you enter it the noise of the exhaust dissapears and the disco light flashes

since refitting my acustic valve i could swear the car apears to have gained torque midrange, but its possibly all in my head, its getting better mpg with it fitted too! ill be leaving it on

on my 03 plate, with button to deactivate.

theres still improvement to be had on the RS manifolds btw, just they are slighly better
