Its been debated for ages.
Some cars with high output ignition systems (turbos etc) and poor grounding from the factory can pickup power with sime earthing.
And if your clio has the groundstrap between box and chassis rail corroded and baout to snap like almost 90% of clios, then itll...
Why all the backchat?
The V6 isnt the be all end all mid engined cars.
I had the chance to drive a V6 daily, but i just hated the way it drove in std form. Sure, it can be sorted, but how many average buyers are prepared to go through the sort of effort that is required.
I did like the...
yea, but care to think of the performance loss through.low inition currant supply.
Id be stranded if i used that on track.
And out of interest, the 172 already employs that with a smart air cont compressor that disengages at high rpm, cool huh.
no, they gave you the normal method, max lift at x crank degrees.
You need x lift @ TDC.
Check piston clearances, its a must even with mild cams, assumption is the mother they say.
Just cause you dont have an F20C head sitting next to you *c**k in stans hand spurting furiously*stan in gimp suit with that sooper gay dood off queer eye behind him.
Ergh:sick:
depends stan, on the cam......god im a poet lol.
But thats my point stan, this method means you dont have to read crank degrees, and on our engines that means engine out, or at least box out to get the degree wheel on.
The traditiona max lift at X deg is pap.
Pardon?
what method is that, you cant measure any lift from behind the vernier, and you cant set cams back to zero, unless you mean zero degrees on the crank.
TO put it simply, you put the engine to TDC on the non firering stroke, basically the exhasut stroke. Then the cam company SHOULD...
TTS does some lovely turbo Hyabusa engines, 1600cc conversion.
But itd be almost impossile and practically stupid to mate the engine up to a 172 box.
The engine has a catridge style box built in so you only need a transfer box with Diff in it and you can retain the sequential box.
