not sure on the facelift at all, think they revised the inlet on the 1.2's but no idea on the 1.4s lol
my 1.2 feels just as quick as my gf's 1.4 16v corsa on the flat, but as soon as theres some weight in the car you can immediately feel the difference in torque. in that my car has...
yeah cheers :)
i just thought that if i actually did go for buckets and a part retrim over a full retrim, i doubt i could look at the error light all the time. especially because they're really bright in the dark. other concern was that if i actually got a problem i wouldnt know lol...
if i opt for buckets in my mk2 ph2, is there anyway to turn the error light i'll get on the dash off? just asking becuase ive seen on a corsa sight you can do similar but for the drivers airbag?
also, which light will actually come on ?
thanks in advance,
Mark
pretty sure mine is making that at the mo, but in having coilovers i assumed it was related to that. may have done it before but i probably didnt realise. i never actually put full lock on that much so dont encounter it often.
sorry i cant help :(
few pics from last night...
bit dark, but there you go. was a good meet overall i thought, and got to meet a few more people off the forum :)
(have resized them all, but photobucket is being ghey lol)
only even seen one clio on 18's and it was a max power car (so isnt boding too well)
but it didnt look bad. this one was lowered a fair bit, but no idea how much youd need to remove.
i translated it into english:
if the mk3 RS clio is rubbish (which i doubt it will be) the trophy might appreciate in its respective resale value, relative to its current price of 15k.
technically it wont be any lower :D unless i get 13's and shove them on some low profiles :)
just looked on ebay, and it might work out cheaper to buy some cheap alloys. got some 16v/rsi wheels for 40 odd quid at the mo with good tyres
i remember the day well when my arrived, it was one of the happiest days of my life. well considering the sheltered life i hold. i got fred to fit mine and would deffo recommend a trip to him :)
i'll be going to fred with my new wheels to get them fredded
i have no life tho (i dont even spam lol.) i saw you down the trent down by the student accomodation carpark. i think its the trent anyway lol.
your lucky to get a space nowadays, and dont even get me started on the amount of vandalism (or carelessness mostly) by other car owners on the uni...
i'm a third year accounting ecomonics and finance student but i cant afford a 1.4 let alone a trophy lol! nice to see someones replied to one of my spotted thread though ;)
Might have seen me around black clio, fks, black wheels, carbon bonnet etc... i only park on the brindley or top car...
does anybody know how much a set of steelies would cost with legal tyres?
just contemplating whether it'll be worth selling my current alloys and reverting to steelies through the winter ready to put my new wheels on for the show season lol
