would definetely be a harder ride, and would be more inclinded to tramline, but apart from that i cant see a problem.
id imagine they'd cost a bit more as well, but i have no idea lol
you can get much nicer for similar money in my honest opinion. try rota wheels, look here www.rarerims.co.uk also have a nose round on www.2modified.com as hes just started to update the wheel section. he can also do rotas :)
you can use any normal paint done in the normal way. i.e. sand it smooth, plastic prime, paint, and then lacquer if needed.
did mine a while ago, and its still fine :)
or even a nice candy red one:
the box you could do yourself, but i highly recommend the powerflow dealer in leek (silver systems) especially as its universal and you might have problems with the brackets. he also had a nice flame red 172 you can have a nose at :)
garage wise i also recommend simon dean in hanley, not the...
yeah should do :)
id recommend them. may have to go on the FK website, because i know there was only one kit listed for the mk2 non-RS clios which runs 58mm hub spacing.
not bad considering your NCB. only thing to be wary about is the fact they wont pay out if left in the driveway. as such you have to force the garage door when nobodies around lol :)
just thinking that actually, and thats probably the only clio i can think of who actually has them. really popular with corsas due to offset reasons lol
could upgrade to something like eibach pro, or konis to keep a suitable level of comfort. see a tonne of cars with wolfrace katanas, but never on a clio :)
i thought my koni specials "red kit" was excellent value for money, but only gave a 30mm drop which wasnt enough for the styling ive opted for. main reason i liked it was that the cornering and handling was better than standard, but still just as comfy :)
lol - so you think it'll work?
i measured and its right on the edge, so could get away with arches rolled. thing is i dont want to agree to buy the wheels as it could be 800quid thrown away lol
and its going to look mental :D
i knew you were going to say that!!
when i measured it looked like it would be 'just' thereabouts, but popped down the bodyshop to see if he could do me some euro style flared arches and got quoted an absolutely joke of a price
some insurance companies reduce your policy for having improved brakes, however they are in the vast majority. if you opt for improved pads/discs you dont need to inform your insurance as its a wear and tear component, in the same way you dont ring to say what tyres you have.
