A four door clio with no back seats? I seem to recall renault struggled to shift all the r26 r's, no back seats in a hatchback a commonly phrased reason for people not willing to shell out on one.
They say cheaper than the v6, then use all the megane trophy r drivetrain, suspension and optional brakes. How much was a meg troohy r again? Maybe tge modus and espace parts fitted are really really cheap! !
Exactly, using a 16 year old engine is a backwards step. Don't try convince me that renault can't get 250+ from the 1.6,or that the next Meg will use the current 2.0t motor. Manufacturers need to move forward, especially as the price keeps going up.
Why couldn't they just tune the 1.6 to 275bhp? Peugeot's 1.6 makes 270ish so why put an old engine in at all? Surely the engine in the forthcoming Megane RS will be newer, cleaner and more powerful. The more i think about this the more it looks like a marketing car.

If it was just a promo thing it would be like the twin run or espace f1. This will be on sale for sure, just at what price? If it comes with 275bhp is going to be a class above everything in its segment, but woukd yiu really want it over a focus rs, type r or golf r for same money?
Whatever they do with it it's not going to be as special as the v6. The v6 is so mechanically different to normal Clio's the price was easily justified. Some flared arches and an older engine than what's in now don't justify such a price hike IMO.

I'll guess the next Meg will be pushing 320bhp so this as a special run clio will keep fans interested until the Meg appears. I'll also predict that the clio trophy will be upped to 250bhp after thus has died down, maybe with a face-lift to match the new Meg.
Breaks feel so smooth [emoji1]. Sensor was £132 from renault. Mechanic says my car looks to be in great condition, that's good to hear from one I've used quite a bit for the wifes car and who I trust.
I remember when Paul first mapped kteks 197. That bricked too and it went to renault Leeds for a new ecu on warranty! They did question the ktek racing stickers all over the car, and the brand new ecu they found in the boot!

Strange yours didn't sort it, your 2nd hand sensor must be broke too. Your wheel speed readings were exactly the same as mine so a working sensor should fix it. I'll let you know tomorrow if the pedal feels better.
It's been in my local trusty garage today. All sorted with renault part for £187. Car had 3 errors on, wheel speed, abs and steering angle. They were on and cleared when belts were done last month so hopefully won't come back again. I want to spend some on mods instead of fixes!
