this is a pass time i have recently found, its fun lol 2nd gear comes on boost and boom black smoke everywhere lol
as for MPG my mrs is averaging 35mpg from her 1.6 16v (surely thats broken lol she drives like an angel)
i give mine hard hard running late every day flat out driving to airdrie...
ive never driven an 80 but as you know ive got a 100 and my mrs has a 1.6 16v dynamique
ragging about flat out redlining everywhere the 1.6 16v is faster (just) untill about 70/80mph
the dci100 has so much overtaking torque for such a small car, diesels are never quick at accelerating but...
gutted, horrible feeling in my stomach!!!
however the new owner is on here ill let him announce his new purchase first lol
i didnt get much use out it the last few months with working so far away so looking forward to seeing it getting the use it deserves!
roll on the R32 GTR :)
it takes ages for the diesel to get from the tank down thru the lines and injection system into the engine so i doubt you would have noticed a difference almost straight away...
its got electric mirrors which i think were only available on the VTS BUT the 1.4 VTR imports had them too.
1.4 VTR's do exist in europe & Ireland so they do end up here. they are just a furio or what ever the top spec 1.4 over here was, but were badged as VTR's in europe, rear drums are...
yes.
and as for the original poster, nothing you can do other than rebuild the gearbox or replace it. it will just get worse no point wasting money on different oil etc
why not its a modern car if it wasnt on its original gearbox after 170k genuine miles id be questioning why not ;)
my last diesel clio was on 160k or there abouts and was fine :) similar gearbox
