yeah I know, but mine is well loud, much louder than any other car ive owned (including the 106 GTi), just thought it may be louder because of the twin exhaust, see I told you mine was louder than yours Tom!!!

Anybody elses 182 sound like a ticking bomb when they get out after driving it?
Mine clicks and creeks and makes a hell of a noise underneath the car for ages, am presuming it is the exhaust but it is well loud and happens even after a short drive!

what, the 172 cup has a 1 bhp per tonne advantage, thats nothing, as we have seen in F1 in the past few years, a tyre can win a race and I dont think anyone will dispute that the Michelin Exalto 2s are better than the contis!
Brazo - so why cant it be faster then, its not impossible, if it gets off the line quicker and gets to 60 quicker because of better traction, then its bloody quicker! And it didnt have special tyres, its just the STANDARD Michelins are a better tyre for the car!

I still disagree scooby, if people want the speed and handling of the 172 cup (which we know they do!) and they can get this in the 182 (which we know they can) but then they get a load of extras to make life more comfortable and the experience when you arent racing around more pleasant, then...
after 1500 miles, rattling centre console, trim above the rear window hadnt been fitted properly and was rattling (refitted it myself), knocking sound from front when I take my foot off the accelerator in traffic, but who cares, everytime I drive it I have a fantastic time, it is never dull...
