Battlefield 2142. BC2 is definitely a good 9/10 game, but 2142 was the last for the PC purists before DICE had to compromise the control interface for the consoles. Come back Commo Rose - you've not been forgotten! :( For their time, I'd say Dune 2 and Master of Magic as well. D.

Just finished the SP campaign - really good story through it, imo. The vehicle bits are a little weak but as the core of the game is FPS, that's not really an issue. Some great set pieces in it and I love the way the very ending passes forward onto the zombie stage. I lol'd at that. :) D.

Got this last night for PC. Played the single player campaign up to the siege at Khe Sanh - pisses me off slightly with the never ending respawned Viet Cong. At times, you simply cannot fire and reloading fast enough for the amount of enemies in front of you and your AI 'buddies', really are...
