Quality. Though I did actually prefer the first game. The only bit that pissed me off was that bit where you jumped from one rock to another. Literally pixel perfect moves were required and just one touch too far and you fell into the river. :(
Absolute epic game for its time though. Was it...
I really am missing something with FF7 - probably time to commit to it. Every time I've tried to 'get into' it - the disk access and disjointed gameplay just start to get on my nerves - as well as the dialogue which I end up skipping through. Which is pointless as I end up missing half the...
But tanks don't blow up with a single grenade hit in any of the Battlefield games - unless your damage is down to the last 5 points from 100. It's never happened in Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142 - but it did happen yesterday on BC2.
I'm airing more on...
Battlefield 2142. BC2 is definitely a good 9/10 game, but 2142 was the last for the PC purists before DICE had to compromise the control interface for the consoles. Come back Commo Rose - you've not been forgotten! :(
For their time, I'd say Dune 2 and Master of Magic as well.

s**t like that happens on all online games, m8. Can be fluke. Can be lag. Can be hacks - who knows. I had one on BC2 this afternoon where I spotted a recon guy from my T-90 tank. As I fired, he lobbed a grenade at my tank - at best a 5-10 damage points on a tank. I had 46 points of damage left...
Another Iliad down by the sounds of it.... :(
Really easy to get caught out in this weather. Even in 3rd gear, I could get my fronts spinning under acceleration - 2nd was a definite. Mind you, it was -7 on the way home, but the roads for the most part looked suspiciously clear of ice.
Must...
Absolutely no disputing that was a great, flukey (and funny) shot. But online sh1t like that just puts me off the COD series online. The fact that that can even happen is a roflcopter statement in itself.

Just finished the SP campaign - really good story through it, imo. The vehicle bits are a little weak but as the core of the game is FPS, that's not really an issue.
Some great set pieces in it and I love the way the very ending passes forward onto the zombie stage. I lol'd at that. :)

PMSL. Got to that part on the SP campaign where you can pickup the G11 assault rifle. PLLLLEEEAASSSEEE tell me its not that good on multiplayer?!
48-round clip, massively accurate and literally zero recoil. it doesn't even take long to reload. It ticks so many boxes that I'd be amazed if there...
Not a good start. You're just asking for trouble and the fact that you're breaking the conditions of the insurance policy when you get it.
Leave it standard - get a few more years under your belt and then dabble with changes. Just not worth it from the get go.

That's the double-edged sword about the recent COD games. People can either suck it up and expect stupid one-man army style scores, or they can ditch the server in droves. That was always one of my bug-bears with it. It was very easy to get an almost runaway train effect of the next perk up -...
The DLC stuff for it was MUCH better integrated with the main game than those of Fallout 3.
Keep an eye on Steam regularly guys - they sometimes drop the kecks on the Oblivion complete set pricing (including all the DLCs) - I think I got mine for about £9.99, iirc?

Chaps,
I've come across many different types of shutdown software for work PCs in my time - but I've never used any. Does anyone know if they are good/average/crap?
We've got around 35 PCs in our call centre, which I appreciate isn't massive compared to larger businesses. But with each PC...
Yep - that's the one! I even recorded a section in FRAPS to see if it was my pissed aim being the issue. Watched it back and it wasn't. Just VC bullets flying everywhere with a seemingly inexhaustable clip of ammo from their AK-47s. Mow down three of them and four more appear. ;)

Got this last night for PC. Played the single player campaign up to the siege at Khe Sanh - pisses me off slightly with the never ending respawned Viet Cong. At times, you simply cannot fire and reloading fast enough for the amount of enemies in front of you and your AI 'buddies', really are...
Isn't that just pretty much reverting it back to normal? ;)
Those alloys. Those alloys!!! Christ, I wouldn't pay £2.99 (inc. delivery) for those from a small ad in the back of Max Power...
