Great pics Lee. Not much in the way of boobies though - were you being civilised and on your best behaviour? ;)
I see you got a cracking picture of the Poison Dwarf in there as well. Jesus. He's got a face like a bulldog licking piss off a thistle.

Sounds like a bit of a pig for the programmer, I would imagine? Adding more polygon count to an object is one thing, but I guess you have to keep true to the original 'shape'?
Can graphics cards take that big increase in polygons easily in their stride these days? Or is that purely down to the...
Lol - I had one of those too. I'm sure it was a full-length card that as well. Had acres of green circuit board for apparently not much circuitry! It was a massive card - I'm pretty sure Clio V6's could do a 3-point turn on there with room to spare! ;)

Was this an '04 plate, m8? After-market exhaust on it too? See it loads - I think the owner must work at The Village in Bury as it's quite often parked up there when I go swimming.

Lol! The Orchid Righteous 3D! I paid £245 for mine from PC World Manchester (yes, naive in those days!). I'm sure I still have the original driver CDs for that at home.
I also got a Matrox Mystique as well and paid for the 2MB daughterboard for it. Iirc, that was around £65 for the memory...
If this was the Middle Ages, I'd have you burnt at the stake for such blasphemy!!!!
(even if you maybe right....) :)
I had a twin 7900GTX setup back in 2006/2007 and it worked ok in XP, but Vista x64 hated it with a passion when I tried it on there.
As mentioned on here, a lot depends on...
Very impressive m8 - nigh on 50% hike in score over the default 5870. :)
I'm a little dismissive of DX11 though. Just how many developers took up the reins for DX10? Hardly any on the grand scheme of things.
Sharky's input would be good here. Are there any performance benefits of DX10 & DX11...
Have you seen the pixel fill rate between the two cards above? Lol - the 480GTX is easily two-and-a-half times better.
First card shown in stats (for me) that goes above the 256-bit memory bus.
Clearly has in-built Physx support as well, eh Sharky! ;)

You're missing out there, Gareth. Keep an eye out for it on Steam. I picked it up the other week for less than £7 and that had both expansion packs and all the extra DLCs for it. Proper bargain. :approve:
I didn't 'get' Dragon Age at all. I thought it would be great from all the positive...
You definitely have a point there. Chipping away at Oblivion again and there's a side to it that's completely missing from Fallout 3. I feel a lot more character involvement with Oblivion that I did with Fallout 3, where I was simply striving for Level 20 and then 30 when the update came out...
If I were you, I would double-check, just in case. You might have forgot that you had some spare!
Quite surprised at the price of the ATi 4890's on Fleabay - they are barely making £100. Unless I hammer mine with very high eye candy settings, it copes with most things at 60fps running at...
