I've had the Logitech MX518 for quite a few years now and it is a superb piece of kit:-

It's coped with my 280+ hours on BF2142, 70+ hours on Fallout 3, the campaigns of the last three previous COD games, amongst many...
Just come off my first 5 mins of MW2 multiplayer and once again, I understand how I absolutely hate COD online. Just had the deathcam view and the way the server interpreted the way I died was nothing like what I was viewing on my screen.
I'd probably love this on a sub <4ms LAN, but online...
Looks great that, Adrian. Was the remit that the model had to be modular for different roles? Or was it more of a case of you two guys saying "it can look like this, or this, or even this?"
I can imagine how some designers would get obsessed by some of their designs!

Nice vids Whiteley! Did the red R5GTT belong to someone off here? I noticed you passed it really easily and then around 7.30 on the 2nd vid, it was pulled up on the grass on the right hand side - just out of Knickerbrook.
Great mish-mash of different makes and models there. What was the most...
Ah - nice one. I haven't exactly got the best in terms of PC anymore - it's over three years old, so it might be dragging it's feet a little!
Apart from that, it's been flawless. Very impressive actually given the amount of detail going on the screen all at once.

Anyone noticed some weird (and a bit random) slow-down issues on the PC version? It slows down for like a second, then immediately picks up again. It only does it when there seems to be a level where there's plenty of AI bots on it.
I've been trying the Spec Ops mode and on Sniper Fi, it's...
Citroen 2CV.... ;)
My 'box was very slushy from new but felt transformed with a change of gearbox oil at the 36k service. Since then, it's been changed twice and I may even have it done again at 72k. It can only help to extend the life of the gearbox itself, imo...

Yes. Take your time!
Fallout 3 is like a 900 page novel to me. A lot of people seemed to have flick-read through it and miss a lot of the detail, background story and atmosphere of the game.
I'm on 70+ hours now and still have two DLC packs to even start. Hardcore players such as Chwissy are...
It will be another input 'quirk' on the PC. They had this in MW1 too. Absolutely fcuking infuriating, imo. There a point later in the game where you have to lie prone. I set my prone key to be '0' on the numpad - and sure enough it displays in the game 'Press '0' to go Prone'. Does it? Does it...
Think of the Pyramid Rule when building a PC. The core three components (in terms of real-world perfromance) will be CPU, motherboard and memory. As Ads 172 says, skimp on one of these and the other two suffer.
You could argue that there is a fourth element to this in the graphics card. But...
Seems ok for me so far, but I haven't been on MP yet.
Love the hate towards IW in that ^^^ thread. There are some seriously, seriously pissed off PC gamers out there now. Increasingly we are being pushed to the side when we have by far and away the better platform. Utter, complete and total...
I was hoping that Shaun would have brought the lunar up North on Saturday instead of his 172....
Maybe I should reward him with my first infraction???! ;)

Scandalous m8! I would have told him to bloody wash it first..... himself!
I also find it a little odd with someone coming around who owns a Lambo, to PC a car for someone else. It's a bit like me asking Gordon Ramsey around to prepare a Pot Noodle for me. ;)

I'm 110% the opposite. The only reason why I bought it today was for the single player aspect. The MP bit can wait. Mind you, if I leave it too long, I'll be facing hordes of 12-year-old Americans with their intercontinental ballistic missile AK-47s, complete with 3,000 round ammo clip - or...
Please, please, PLEASE tell me that you are having a joke on our behalf? :S
Of course. Corporations such as Sophos and Mcafee spend millions each year on the pointless exercise of releasing AV products for the Macs because of what? They are bored? They have nothing else to do? Or that they...
Enough of the Clios. Who's is the Evo outside at the start? ;)
Whiteley - any idea how much your car weighs, m8? Must have a pretty good power-to-weight?
D.
I hope the BB is for personal use? Everyone that eventually gets one at work looks like they age 5 years in about 5 weeks! ;)
You become available 24-7 with one of those things. I dread to the think of the system alerts I'd get at 3am and 4am if I had a BB - lol.
Switching phones off - FTW...
No wonder the lad who bought my previous car was was on the phone severals times to me. "You won't sell it will you? You won't let it go? I'll have the money by Tuesday." Lol. I gave him my word and that was that.
