finally got W7 on and working. you know when you put your dell service tag in and it gives you the various drivers and bits to install, do i need to latest bios one?

FFS... yep it was cos i had cd selected only it just kept booting from cd, how ghay now my copy of W7 wont load. when i got my laptop it had vista on it and a month later i got a free W7 upgrade from dell. so w7 is an upgrade cd so i cant boot from it and install a fresh. i have to install...

what was happening was after copying the files it install them. i kept getting and error that one could was curropt, which is odd as its taking the files from a windows CD. it seems to have got past that now, does the install says its restarting, restarts and then were back at the begining...

I ended up getting a new Samsung ssd today but every time I try to install windows I just get a f**king error. I hate windows

got two sticks on memory in the laptop, just ran in with each one in on its own. but it made no difference

ok am on an old xp laptop now so can use this one. what does the program do? just say if there is somthing up with memory?

how do you find out whats bad?! its not blue screening, just freezing. i canmove the mouse but not click on aything ive go a OCZ Agility 3 60gb in there wish i could just afford a new laptop

laptop turns on, i start in safe mode. it goes to login screen fine and i can log in fine. but as soon as it gets to desktop its froozen cant do a thing.

how do i get to bios? f whatever on startup?

if i replace the hard drive gain give it another year will it just die again? what cases a hard drive to fail?

excellent got start up failed again and now my laptop is dead. is it the hard drive?

apart from fooking up the mounting hole this is how the final shape will look. tested and it fits fine also this is the other design

a bend? its just where its sitting on top of the other foot rest. just need to knock 5-10mm off and job done
