Test drove the Healey V8 today (56K no way)

Nice motor! I agree with you on the wheels - a little too wide for my liking. But that's a small issue. I bet it puts a big smile on your face when driving it! D.

    UK Plug redesigned (Concept)

Because it's not really needed! At the very best case scenario, I can see a need for laptop users having one of these. But then most power supplies are bulky and get in the way anyway, so a standard 3-pin plug is hardly a problem. As for everything else, what do you regularly plug and...

    BLACK CLIO 182

I think the clue is in the paint's name...... ;) D.

    UK Plug redesigned (Concept)

FLOL. That just had to be an Apple design. Yep, I spend hours on a daily basis fretting about the vast quantities of open void that my plugs use. Interesting idea, but you have to ask why? Reinventing the wheel with a smaller wheel kind of springs to mind. D.

    A CS first? Flyering while on the M6 motorway . . .

FLOL! Do you mean clothes-lined? I still laughed at that though! D.

Wh0ring around the specialists on here...

So far in it's life, my 182 has been to.... RS Tuning RenTech Birchdown I could be tempted to go some place else as well. But the Kevs @ Birchdown are just such a feast for the eyes. Anyone been to more? D.

HP laptop won't switch on, any ideas?

Had three of these do the same over the years at work. Exactly the same symptoms, though admittedly one of those I fcuked over by applying a BIOS update. :o D.

1st shots of my new 182

Can I swap the front bumper for mine? After 60k, it will get stone-chipped to fook. You don't notice it much until the polishing stage. Tipp-Ex dots everywhere.... ;) D.

    Buying a Gaming Pc

Each person has their own opinion, but for me, XP rules over Vista in terms of gaming. I've had some quite shocking decreases in performance in Vista with the settings setup like for like against XP. Left 4 Dead being a prime example. The DX10 support of Vista (currently, imo) is nothing more...

    Bought some £2400 Recaros

Just swap the flaps for black ones. Job done. :) Falls into that proper pocket car group that handles really well (supposedly - as I've never driven one!) A bit like the Panda 100HP, imo - and I've have one of those too. D.

    Buying a Gaming Pc

Mine's the Sapphire version with 512MB of GDDR5. I did notice on the Crysis benchmark that the GFX memory in use stopped at around 510MB. Whether or not it detects the cards' memory and max's it out accordingly, I don't know. Oh, and that's only running at 1280x1024 as well! If you check the...

    Buying a Gaming Pc

The trouble with those types of PCs though is that the motherboard tends to be the absolute bare minimum to get the job done. Ideally on building your own, you should be looking to spend half that budget above on the motherboard alone........ at the very least. The motherboard is the...
