nice pictures, i only took it round the car park on the clutch, but bloody hell that clio tt is some machine. Serious respect to matt for building it, great guy, and very down to earth about it
sounds good, who knows when it'll be sorted though, need to source some body parts and an exhaust, and then get it sprayed. The amount of hoops I've had to jump through with this bloody car. wish I'd bought a normal one
god that thing eats through brakes quicker than the fiesta goes through its two fuel tanks:rasp:
I'm so coming for a thrash round "the circuit" see whether I can keep up
Well, 4 hours of cutting away the bonding, and pulling, the side skirts came off. Got to take the kit off to get insured on it, needs to be standard (looking)
Flames?! god that mini must be a beast now
niiiiiice not seen it in ages, looking loads different to last time, just ripped the side skirts off the 182. It looks naked. need renault side skirts now:dapprove:
well, I'm currently in the process of ripping the body kit off, and it'll need quite a bit of respraying, as the bonding has fucked the paint work underneath, so i was just messing around with colour schemes. I like inferno so it'll stay orange i think, just thought it would be interesting to...
ah, i was in corfu last month, my girlfriends family hired a hyundai trajet... strange car, her dad only crashed it once lol. where abouts did you stay?
19, no ncb, but working on that, I'm currently paying 1000 for insurance on a 1.3 fiesta, and hopefully after taking my 182 back to standard, I'll be paying 1500 to be insured as a named driver on my 182
Insurance is killing me, I'm 19 with a 182, struggling to find anywhere that will insure me.
If you've got no claims bonus you should have an eas(ier) time, but having no ncb, you're looking at in excess of 3,000 for insurance
This is the problem, every single insurer or broker out there will not give me a quote under 3 grand, which is fair enough, I am only 19, but I've paid for the car and repairs all off my own back, just annoying that other cnuts my age give young drivers a bad name by racing and crashing lots.
Due to insurance purposes, (apparently having a 19 year old driver on a modified Cat C 182 is risky) I have to remove the mods off my car, so the kit that the last owner put on is coming off. (Awaits the cheers from CS)
Started on the front splitter with a small snap off blade, to try and cut...
yes... the car can sit in a warehouse for 2 weeks, having only been driven in 1st gear round the corner everyday, and every insect in the area will be firmly glued to the regestration plate.
this goes for every other car on the planet though me thinks
