Garage usually takes some sort of handheld dremel type polisher to mine before balancing so the weights stick if they are dirty.

Suppose so, the bike I was looking at was around £7k so not a huge value, with bikes though I have found that security (trackers/alarms/chains) doesn't seem to make a difference if it's in a locked garage.

I considered it when I was getting a motorbike new 2 years ago (halifax is the 2nd worst place in the UK for motorbike thefts you know) but it made no difference to the insurance. Cant remember costs but it simply wasn't worth it, if I had something worth a lot and rare then I'd get one.

I knocked some off cleaning the wheels once, just got mine rebalanced while they were off the car and its a lot better now :)

I think the JMS kit does make the car better to drive, even if graphs and peak figures are similar, once on the road it does seem to be more torquey.

Did you make sure the ring was centred before fitting the wheel, this causes similar issues. Didn't know you could fail an MOT on abs lights since you could just remove the bulb :S

Mine is up on last year which may be down to the JMS induction? Some people are suggesting it may work better with a live remap. Da - 181.7bhp - Yozza exhaust, V6 induction kit, Schrick cams and RS Tuning live map. Mike - 174.1bhp - Yozza cat-back and JMS Induction

Probably a while now, turnout for this one was fairly low, maybe 6 months ish? You can go anytime though and do a run :)

It would be interesting to see a new system fitted, with the nav replaced with a HU that can also run nav via a separate touch screen which could be fitted where the current screen is. Would have to remove the nav buttons too which might be difficult to make look good again but once done it...

When you're already mm's off the ground and have a loud exhaust those 99% already think your a w**ker so might aswell finish it off with red wheels lol But I agree, i wouldn't want to be riding on red all day every day since it does attract bad attention and comments.

Little one off brokers which people mention, I cant think of any lol but if you dig around you find them. Then you've got brentacre/sky/CK/admiral group/nfu/Adrian Flux, none are on comparison sites so are often overlooked (I know admiral group are but their prices are often a lot better direct)
