    Ph1 'Exclusive' Budget Track Car

You get the odd one that's just a bit of a t**t to do. Looks like it's clipped in place but needs a tap to knock it up a bit and then it clips in. I always give them a tap to the side as well to make sure they are seated fully. The gap between the eyes keys you know though if it's in propperly.

When you fit the circlip tap it in with a small punch just to make sure it's in it's groove.

pedal box/servo can come out into the car. only ever done it when i've stripped one but think there should be enough space next to the steering column to get it out?

    Steering creaking badly.

hard to say, it's a pain to try and diagnose noises from a video. you should be able to feel it though, grip the bottom of the column and get someone to turn the wheel a bit and take it from there.

    Actual stripped out weights?

The cage will be the thing that holds you back that little bit. It's doable to 900 though easy enough. What you got left of the dash?
  18. B

    Actual stripped out weights?

you'd definitely need composite doors and tailgate. there's a lot of the loom you can get rid of as well. then you start getting expensive, ti nuts and bolts etc, lighter suspension, shafts, wheels etc...
  19. B

    Actual stripped out weights?

six point cage, stripped interior, plastic side and rear windows, all metal panels and weighs in at 860kg with about 1/3 tank of fuel. i reckon you could easily get one under 800kg.
