spoken to chris about this a few times now and he's seen a difference with matched inlets. mid rainge seems to benefit from what i've seen on graphs comparing like for like specs.
You get the odd one that's just a bit of a t**t to do. Looks like it's clipped in place but needs a tap to knock it up a bit and then it clips in.
I always give them a tap to the side as well to make sure they are seated fully. The gap between the eyes keys you know though if it's in propperly.
pedal box/servo can come out into the car. only ever done it when i've stripped one but think there should be enough space next to the steering column to get it out?
hard to say, it's a pain to try and diagnose noises from a video. you should be able to feel it though, grip the bottom of the column and get someone to turn the wheel a bit and take it from there.
you'd definitely need composite doors and tailgate. there's a lot of the loom you can get rid of as well. then you start getting expensive, ti nuts and bolts etc, lighter suspension, shafts, wheels etc...
six point cage, stripped interior, plastic side and rear windows, all metal panels and weighs in at 860kg with about 1/3 tank of fuel.
i reckon you could easily get one under 800kg.
