If the wife is attached to it and you have a soft spot for it too, why sell? You've clearly got a rare motor there is terms of mileage. I'd personally get the belts done and then enjoy seeing the next four years in - without even breaking 30k mileage! :)

Surely if this legislation went through, then manufacturers would just make the standard cars louder? I mean, the standard 182 exhaust (like mine) sounds absolutely s**t. It's quiet, too muted and gives very little audio feedback in the cabin that you're driving anything remotely special.

^^^ - Steering Paedo Bear makes itself be known.....
Gutting, rexe. :dapprove: Hopefully the reapirs won't be too much and that it can be back on the road, soon enough? Try not to give up on it just yet!

Thing is Lee, what else is there in the back to nick other than a few bits of piping!
Gotta to agree with you on the Reno staff that had the balls to make this car. Hats off to them!

Shhhhhsh! That's a swear-word to Lee. He'd never get one anyway - just because he'd know that I'd have been right all along! ;)
Great pics. The R26R just looks ace. I didn't realise that it came with no stereo? Awesome! Focused ideas and ditching any additional weight - FTW!

Good turnout - and it was nice to see that once in a while (though bloody rarely) - Turner's RB motor does actually get dirty. I know, I couldn't quite believe it myself. ;)
Once again, I was in awe of the Mk1 Clios. Proper flame-spitting blat-mobiles that sounded awesome on full chat. Made the...
Had a few comments - last one was when a Focus RS owner and me were moaning about the price of super unleaded a few months back. :)
The oddest/most memorable one I've had was at Sainsbury's at Marsh Mills, Plymouth - when I had the Punto GT. Just on my way to head back up north when a modded...
I don't know much about the standard 182 stereo, so which cable would I need to connect it to an iPod? I take it that it would involve ejecting the unit out itself and then connecting the cable to the rear?
Does the cable simply connect to the earphone connector of the iPod, or does it have the...
Agree - one of Westwood's finest. Had that when I was at uni.
Remember playing the original C&C on two PCs connected via serial cable back then. Sllllloooooowwwwww - lol!

Lol - I remember some of the early games being totally unplayable with the turbo button on. It did have a funky red light when switched on too. ;)
Mad to think, isn't it - that 25, 33, 50 and 66Mhz were like the 'storming performers' of their day. Yet we don't bat an eyelid at CPUs now running...
If grease has gone all over the inner rim of the alloy, then the best way to clean them I've found is a simple warm water mix with Fairy washing-up liquid and a cheap car sponge from Halfords. Comes off a treat, but be sure to give the alloy a good rinse afterwards.
I also washed an wiped my...
Nah - it's gone twice on mine. Even the Renault CV clip was less than a quid, iirc?
Silly design really - they should have done something better on that. I first noticed that something was amiss when my braking went to s**t. Clearly the grease had splashed over the front disc as well.

Yep - something about the decimel placing, iirc. Wasn't there a calculation error after seven decimel places or something?
I remember that case where some engineers had a major issue contructing a bridge correctly because they had based their figures from software using early Pentiums.

Awesome card at the time. :) Absolute biatch at times for it to work (drivers mainly) with my other card at the time - a SoundBlaster 16ASP.
Bought mine in Seattle where it was much cheaper than over the border in Canada, where it was made. :S

Iiyama would be top of my list, Roy. Have you checked their range out?
I've personally stayed clear of any widescreen options for now - still preferring the 4:3 aspect ratio. I use a widescreen 23" at work, which is brilliant from an IT viewpoint - paired with a 19" 4:3 monitor.
For gaming...
Good effort, Lee. Though from the Master of Rackage Appreciation himself, I would have expected more emphasis on the paps pics. ;)
Awesome Porker shots there though and you're right - that blue colour is simply stunning. And then the RSR below it? Good god............ p**n!

The RS one off the boot? Just wash the area as normal and then get a piece of dental floss. Cuts through the sticky foam backing quite easily.
I washed the area again (very carefully though as there is a LOT of crap behind there) and then polished off the remaining bits of foam backing.
D.
I completely agree.
Until you put games on it. ;)
Have they actually got off their arse and sorted out the SLi issues with Vista 64 yet? The sole reason why I haven't wanted to pursue a Crossfire setup. It's just put me off completely. Hopefully Windows 7 will address some of these core...
