The plastics aren't lightened at all. The 172 Cup had lighter front glass, that's it. The plastics are the same.

Definitely worth traveling to get the best. It's not going to be cheap to get to 190bhp though. I'd personally say you're better off with minor mods such as exhaust/filter and then getting a decent suspension set up and better brakes.
172 Cup was a lighter more 'focused' version.
The 182 Cup is the worst Renault Sport Clio ever released. It loses things.. Xenon lights, leather seats, auto lights/washers etc etc. But doesn't gain anything.
