Thanks for the clarification on the weird double tap thing, it looks very awkward IMO but at least it's has a purpose.
Keyboard, didn't know that. Cheers.
Glad you agree regarding camera roll DK.
But by that theory, our windscreen's on our cars would never get scratched because it's just stone and rubber that hit's them. Eventually, everything start's to marr/dull. I'll be interested to see how it goes.
OK so rather than a single issue moan, or a single positive.. here's my findings so far:
Positives:
So far, I've genuinely only seen one, and that's not being a facetious.
Battery usage on apps, that's a great feature.
So, the negatives:
1) As a very frequent landscape typer...
Zoomed view really is for the blind.
Does anyone else share my camera related concerns? Personally, I can see the quality of the camera being reduced by like 30% after 12 months of putting it down on table tops etc? There's just no way that's not going to haze? Surely?
I really love the design...
Cheers Ben, posting this from 4G
Another thing I'm struggling with is that despite the bigger screen size, the keyboard is no bigger. There's just these poxy side buttons. I'd like the ios7 keyboard but bigger buttons.
Also, Safari crashes every time I click post in landscape. Just freezes...
Sorry benjamin, but are you saying that I won't need a new sim to get 4G???
Got my 6, really impressed but the camera sticking out the back really does concern me.
Text woke me up at 3:00 to say it was on it's way to Vodafone Bluewater. Deliberate choice as I'm out and about for work all day, bluewater's open til 9 so pickup will be easy and not a rush.
Want a pouch myself, what one you going for?
dk I've always gone without a case on that logic, always. But I want to something that'll let me throw it in a bag if I'm wearing shorts with s**t pockets etc.
I'm sitting here wish I'd ordered silver. I'm not entirely sure what I was thinking at...
Poor resolution was nearly the only annoyance for me.
My housemate got confirmation that his will be in store for collection (carphone on O2) last night, ready for collection release day.
He ordered very late in the day too! My voda order has the same as above :-(
I can't believe I'm about to...
Errrr, why d'you want a diesel? Sounds like it's not going to do a million miles a month.. with inflated repair costs on some items, you'll surely be better of petrol?
Anyone who's ordered on vodafone, they've really pissed me off. Experiences?
So, I've gone from a £15.50 a month contract, to a £48.50 a month contract. (I'm discounting it, but anyway).
So, my billing date is the 15th, I upgraded on the 13th.
They've changed my plan from the 13th, even...
Calcs:
Both are for 4GB of 4G data, unlimited texts and calls on Vodafone.
12 Month Sim only:
£619 for phone
£21.60 a month over 24 months on a 12 month sim only plan
24 month cost = £1137.40
24 Month Pay monthly plan
£129 for phone
£38.80 a month for 24 months
24 month cost = £1060.20
I...
Yeah, I've never gone two years before, but this works out cheaper than going sim only weirdly enough, and I kept my 5 for two years.
Also it means I can just sell the handset after one and upgrade to the S if it's worth it.
Ordered a 64Gb space grey with vodafone, finally got friends and family, so it brings a baller spec plan down to like £38.50
4GB of 4G data, unlimted everything else. £129 for the phone.
Any one else feel the tarriffs are a bit of a s**t this year?
i.e a 16gb actually costs less per month than the same thing on a 64gb, AND you have to pay more upfront. The cost is nowhere near representative of the small increase in handset cost.
