put a bit of card behind the simcard so when you use the metal clip its firmer. download nokia pc suite and you can update the firmware of the phone. you will loose all data from the phone so back up first

ah is that why it dont work. if you do *#0000# you can check for software updates via wifi or gprs

tell me abuot it. my main problem is playing music, or the lack of. it just freezes and restarts. messages and contacts are slow but it dont hang

hahaha i wouldnt expect that!!! the featires have been improved and the satnav is as good as a tomtom. but the software is mega poor. lets hope for some updates soon

mine gets lots of use trust me and its not gone wrong once. maybe its you, maybe your to rough with it

have you done a firmware update? are you makning sure you put the simcard in correctly (straight) are you making sure the metal clip is being secrued over the simcard?

whats wrong with the n95? had mine 18 months and it didnt brake once? the software runs perfect.

the n96 is a fantastic phone, all features have been improved big time. take the satnav, it picks up a signal straight away its just as good as a proper satnav. but the downside is the software is really buggy. its gona take a few software updates from nokia to sort this issue

n95 works just perfect with the latest firmware update. there is currently an update for the n96 out but it makes no difference

OMG is the software on the n96 buggy!! when the n95 came out i thoght it was ok and with the latest firmware update my n95 runs 100% perfect. fast no freezing or resetting. all the n96 does is freeze and reset, nokia better start getting some software updates out there.

the 12 month is just a trick to get a good deal. the upgrade people couldnt help me so put me onto the loyilty people

yeah o2 its an upgrade. they started with £45 a month on 18months, i said piss off i only want 12 months. they said 12month at £35 and the phone was £170 so again piss off. we settled on £30 for the phone at £35 a month for 18 months and unlimited internet for free.
