Right, mixed bag last night. It drove lovely. Smooth, refined and good power. Just what we want and the wife loves it.
However, Sat Nav started playing up. As in it froze / radio stopped playing. Go over a bump and it starts again. Heavy whirring sound from the DVD drive. After some googling it...
I've already text him to say we'll definitely have it. And I won't be selling it on...not until it has moon miles and to a non-CSER. I don't like the risk of things going wrong with someone I know...
FLOL! I quite like them. They will be swapped next year though when the tyres need doing, largely because I don't want 18 inch run flats which are pricey.
So, an update to this. I'm testing this out over the Christmas break, with a view to buying it in Jan after it's been serviced at a BMW main dealer.
It has FBMWSH and extended warranty from the dealer (although that is non-transferable, hence it getting serviced by the old owner in Jan). 103k...

It didn't have any signs of wear to the leads / wiring etc, but I haven't had a great look at it as we were working on it on the drive as the garage is busy.
Swapped the injectors and lambda, as per the RS Tuner codes, and it actually ran really well for 10...
Welcome along! Cup or no cup, given your plans it's largely irrelevant.
Mine started life as a non-cup. Now has everything a cup had / didn't have and significantly more.....
