My mum offered me her car when i passed, i had enough respect for my mother not to take it away from her.
That and the fact it was a t reg yellow 1.0l micra, that she said i couldn't just sell :p
Tbh i think most people would take a car offered by their parents, especially when they can easily...
If you can afford it, which it seems you can, and you want it then just go ahead and buy it.
MY 182 isnt costing much more than my old 1.2 to insure tbh.
Lol at already having a play on the grass.
I only did it once, in my C2 of similar power to your GT, then thought whats the point and drove off the field leaving everyone else to get on with smashing up their cars. Something that has to be tried at least once though :rasp:
The car looks really...
Since the last one didn't go ahead, and didn't gain that much interest
Dont know about dates, whatever would be best for everyone?
Sunday 22nd any good, or 29th if people need more notice.
Same location as the last one:
Any interest?
I dont know whether I dislike the owner for making it so awful or admire him for having the confidence to lift those lambo doors and step out of it, possibly where people may actually see him.
I use fuchs titan supersyn, only just changed it in the 182 on Saturday but i liked it in my C2 so stuck with it.
Get it from GSF, about £20/l from there.
I tpft on my car and bike, worth about £4.5K each.
The bike was about £200 more to insure fully comp, it doesn't get used much and the excess is very high for fully comp, i'd have to do serious damage to not be able to fix it myself for under £1K i reckon.
The car was an extra £1K for fully...
On my travels around yorkshire every day, mostly west i rarely see them tbh.
And when i was looking to buy one there were none close by, ended up going to the other side of manchester to buy mine.
I get this, people saying clio's are girls cars. Happened when i had my 1.2 too, but not with my C2 :S
Personally i do not care since they all drive 1.2 corsa's/polo's/festa's, and most of them are looking at buying astra's/focus' i know what i'd rather have.
It kind of depresses me when...
Well i have put a fastchip map on now.
And the cruise wouldn't even light up at first. Then after an engine switch off - switch on and it started to light up again. But it still doesn't work.
I did the reprogram with the CC in the off position too.
I presume that my car had previously been...
Yer, lazy driving FTW. Its wierd, after driving the (1.3) van which needs to be revved a lot i get in the clio and take a couple of miles to adjust to not having to rev as much, then i get back in the van and stall. Fail :(
Edit: Lol, reading what i wrote earlier makes me sound like a right...
Traction control is great in bad weather tbh, makes driving easy since you dont have to think about controlling the power when setting off on a lazy pootle around town.
Bet you cant wait for a dry day to push the car to its limit.
I have the same problem with this, tried a few dealerships near me and they all charge top whack for parts, with no discounts. And nothing is ever in stock, no matter how basic it is.
Are there any dealers which keep more stock than others? And do deals on prices?
I have found JCT600's pug...
Cheers,
Just that my 1.2 plugs were really deep and didn't want to lose a socket down there :p
New plugs soon then! I am considering super 4's as they were a big improvement in my C2 but all the comments on here seem a bit negative towards them.
