I think it depends where you go. I got refused entry into a casino in America when I was 29 - lol! Because I couldn't prove how old I was (passport back at the place we were staying) they said no.
Good pic there Deeg. Was it a 'point & click' shot - you didn't take much time with it? I...
Glad I'm not the only one who thought that! Complete MoTeC display on the dash and sequential gears as well. They must have pumped some serious cash into that motor. :approve:
D.
Could be. What are they? :o
In all honesty, it's probably best viewed as a showcase - of what could be achieved with a donor Jap car and a fat wallet. The rate of acceleration of some of the cars was amazing - it really does give you some idea of how tough those internal components must be...
Good day out at Oulton Park today, though the weather was really screwed up. One minute it was....
The next it just chucked it down! When I first got there this morning, most cars were struggling with wheelspin. Very quick rises in revs followed by the compulsory wastegate chatter...
Ah! I thought there can't be many RB 182s with CS stickers around this neck of the woods!
Nope - wasn't me that - I came down from Shadsworth, past the hospital. I'm amazed that you parked where you did - well dodgy shoppers with full trolleys and door-dings just waiting to happen! ;)
I was...
I'd personally pick neither, m8. I'd rather give my money to one of the many specialists garages who've been mentioned on here that know the Clio's inside and out.
Whereabouts in the country are you?
D.
.....at my usual stalking grounds. ;)
On a late one today - left it far too late for a decent butty selection. Had to make do with the 'ol cheese & onion. Boo. :(

.... in terms of pure running costs?
If I round it up and say my mileage is approx 40 per day - with a mixture of urban and some motorway mileage - is one better than the other?
The only 'luxury' option I'd really like is power steering - not sure if that was standard anyway?
Any ideas of...
WhyTF would muppets only need mudflaps?
Parking sensors on the other hand - I agree. :)
Racks are evil. Get a bigger car or a van. Make your car an Instant-Hillbilly-Mobile. :dead:

Heading north and came off at Haslingden, I think?
Looked really well - and the exhaust sounded goo too! Lowered a bit, but with uncupped wheels, iirc?

Proof of what can be achieved when its looked after.
I'm guessing here, but you work your car hard on track, etc - yet its still going strong. It's amazing how some TLC in terms of oil changes, etc can stretch a motor's mileage out to quite high figures.

I was going to say the same! Looks great. :)
Some good pics there, Jamie - the camera has picked up a good amount of detail - including the marbles being flicked up behind that Ginetta about 15 pics down.

Remember seeing it back in the days of its orangey-brown 1.2 state - on rollers with Matt and assistant standing on the wings for the damn thing to gain traction on the RR day!
Good times. Glad to know that its been moved onto another level. :)

Still not convinced of that myself. I was looking a lot more at the Mk2's than the Mk3's at FCS.
Slightly lowered 172 Cups, for example look absolutely stunning, imo.
If I could buy a 172 Cup or a 197 Cup brand new from a dealership tomorrow - just purely on looks alone, I'd be heading...
The main risk with that m8, is if someone else plough's into your car. You won't have the chance to take bits off before the Police and insurance assessors are on the scene and if your car doesn't match their records, they have every right to refuse payment.
So someone hits you - it was their...
FFS. You serious?
If I want to get vinyl cut-out lettering, plastered all over my car that says "I bum goats for fun" - then that is my car, and I should be fully entitled to do it.
Another wonderful idea, cooked up in the Insurance Sh1tpit..... I mean, Thinktank. :dapprove:

I'm betting six problems - including the fact that they break your door card, can't find another one and simply refit a complete blue door from another Clio.
All in the vain attempt that you won't notice. ;)
