You must have missed my earlier thread, m8!

Cheers Jay - I will be taking to a specialist rather than Reno. It's already been to RenTech and RS Tuning. I may even try somewhere else - just to build up that log book with various stamps - lol.
So nothing major then? It would be great if they knew how to fully resolve the creaky clutch...
My 182 is getting close to the 48k mark now and I'm getting ready to book her in for the next service.
Is there anything specific I should consider at this moment in time? Obviously the 60k one will be cambelt time, but anything extra needed for the 48k?
Cheers guys...

Lol - I should have - when he wasn't looking! ;) Had a quick butchers inside too - looked he had the full sequential gearbox setup too. Proper rally stylee.
The Evo RS Sprint was definitely a highlight for me. The first one I've seen in the flesh and probably the only one I will ever see...
I'll have to venture a bit further north, next Gaz. We did a run out that came across from Sedbergh, through Hawes and down towards Skipton. A great drive out. I'll probably add Gunnerside into the next run! :)
^^^ - yes, that is a nice shed. Looks like its got good ventilation as well. Needs...
I've seen no other car that could suit it better. Really finishes the front view off, imo.
I'm sure Chris will be happy with the feedback though. ;)

The red one looks like a good effort, to be fair. And why shouldn't they make another rear-engined V6? I'm all for it. The Williams was obviously a tie-in with the said F1 Team - been and gone and will remain a classic.
The over-sized rear and crammed-in engine has always been a Renault quirk...
They won't. Or I'll be 110% amazed if they did. I wouldn't be surprised if the insurers pull his policy on some technicality like the day of the week ended in a 'y' or something and thus invalidated his insurance.
In fact, I'll stop here. The 'I' word annoys me more than petrol prices at...
I caught something on the tannoy about that. Said something about using a common space-frame chassis with a TDi engine in order to make a rally series 'cheap' and accessible. Or something. ;)

Definitely - there were loads of the buggers there! Some of the drivers really could power slide them well too. Would have done anything for a guest lap in one of those. :)
That sounds good - if they've improved on last year then. I'll be marking it off on the calendar as well.

PMSL!!! I thought I'd burn like a b*****d today too and I couldn't find any suncream in the house before I left.
Still, I know no shame. I had no issue knicking some of Jain's moisturiser with SPF 5 million put into it. I am SO glad I did - or else I'd be proper roasted by now. ;)
Really...
Erm. WOW!
Kind of blows my pics out of the water - lol!!! :)
Did you see the flames out of the back of the other Audi on the straight? Wish I had the camera (and talent!) to shoot that.

Got there relatively early - about 8.30 and there were already quite a few people knocking about.
Chatsworth never fails to impress me. The one house I would own if I had Bill Gates's money - lol
Plenty of car clubs were there - from Capris, Scoobies and Lancias, through to Talbots...
What....... the........ f*** is that?!!? :S
Utter shiote.
Lol - it's near here too. I 'think' I know where those house are in the background. Might have a closer butchers. Says a lot when his aspirations to swap are for a Toyota Corolla.

It looks like I'm getting there...
After two aborted failures on install (it said it couldn't read from the CD) - I did a search on the internet and it seems to be a common problem with v8.04.
Copying the ubuntu image into a temp folder, along with the Wubi installer and running it from...
Hang on. If the network guys are cool and the server mob are geeks...... and you're both - surely that means that they cancel each other out? In which case, you're a nothing?? :clown:

Cheers guys. One thing I did notice was that Ubuntu had several choices of what to format the partition with during install. Is there a better file format than others for Linux?
Also, it asked about the storage location of the swap file. Can I ignore it, or does it really need one?
And Griff...
Right chaps. I have an AMD64 laptop here with Windows XP32 on the main partition.
I've got a completely free D: partition, currently formatted in NTFS, with around 10GB of space.
I've burnt the iso image of Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64 edition onto a CDR and want to make the laptop dual-boot (if...
Agreed.
The same 182 as mine, but with sat-nav - £16.5k new from Reno Bury.
I paid £12.2k new, from Lloyds CarSelect. And I picked it up from Reno Manchester.

Can be a bit iffy this one. The only ones I've personally come across are the larger 80-pin drives, but I'm led to believe that these are falling behind the times now, in favour of the 68-pin version. What I don't understand about this though, is the fact that the 68-pin drive comes with an...
