Highroller. MPG is obviously a factor with any car you buy. Not many people would buy a car that does 10mpg for example. The reason I asked about MPG is because I know the 330i's do really good mpg for the size of car and engine.

Like it. Autobox does make great sense for a commute. I'm sure you'll know this Dave: Does the touring get any different MPG to the coupes or saloons? What kind of MPG are you expecting?

I found my ktec system to be loud at the wrong times i.e. on the motorway then too quiet when giving it stick. It was the centre box'd version mind. Each to their own really, best advice to the OP would be to go to a meet and ask somebody for a demonstration of their ktec system. There's loads...

I'd avoid the KTEC stealth. It drones and booms most at 70-80mph in 5th gear which is brilliant for motorway driving..... Then when your giving it some it just doesn't have much character to it. The scorpion system I've got on my 182 in comparison sounds great being driven through the gears and...

R26 Carb?

If your using the quickshift to shorten the throw then it shouldn't be a problem. If you use it to actually change gear faster then you may get issues. The gearbox has too long of a throw on the 1*2 for a performance orientated car. I never noticed it too much until having an MX5 between my 1*2's.

Re: Ultra Red 200 ordered. There's no better feeling than getting a brand new vehicle. I've only ever had one brand new one and that was a scooter when I was 16. If you can stand to take the hit on depreciation then buying new is awesome.

Why would anybody pay £3K for it though that's the question. It's something different but for £3k I'll take a real 182 thanks.

Bad luck Mark. The wind got hold of my 182's door last month but it hit a wooden fence instead so it was ok. Hopefully it will be a pretty simple fix.

There is a bung in the airbox you can remove and it sounds brilliant. PM Christopher. He knows what to do. I've been in his 133 and can vouch that it makes a great noise.

hmm not so sure then. Normally if its engine movement its worst in 1st gear under full throttle.

Could be knackered engine mounts. Manifold hitting the sub frame. Does it do it in 1st?

It's clean. Can't believe how much better the cup pack's make them look though. So rare to see a standard non cupped one.

Looks really good. Don't both with LED sidelights, just remove them.
