Yep, I've got the colour codes ok, but I just can't get the wires to go in smoothly. Either one crosses over another, or one kinks, etc.
It probably just takes practice?

Ok chaps - please tell me I'm being a proper bell and making these CAT5 cables up wrong.
I've got the cable stripper, the CAT5 plug, the crimping tool and plenty of CAT5 cable to practice on. What I'm short on is both patience and talent.
How the funk do you get all 8 wires to slide into the...
PMSL! :D
Anyone called 999 for him yet? ;)
Giles, you need horse-whipping for even mentioning such a deluded and demented question. I'm far from being Captain Detailer, but under no circumstance would I give my car a thrashing with one of those.
The Celica I borrowed and car-washed a mere...
If some Taleban wannabe stole my car and used it as a bomb - like fcuk would the insurers get away with it - I'd bloody make sure of that.
They've had around £16k of my money over the years with zero claims. If something like that happened beyond my control, then they would pay up. End...
Clear proof that even after pumping thousands into something that you think looks the nutts - 99% of people disagree with you.
Thumbs up for effort, but I would feel the biggest t1t driving around in that. You can almost imagine the scene at a set of traffic lights when the local scallies in...
Easy. Get rid of half of the sh1te that designers 'think' people want - like climate control, air-con, in-car MP3s, 9+ speaker systems etc and focus on the car itself. You would soon start to seen large pockets of space appearing within the body shell then.
I'm not specifically targetting the...
Funnily enough, I saw the MD about 10 minutes later and told him the results. I think he can justify the expense in his own mind now!
It really was impressive to see. I knew it would be a lot quicker, but not by a factor of 30.

Feck - it's a tad quick!
The Mac Pro from the other thread...

.... finally had the 4GB of memory turn up this morning. We left the original 1GB in there, so it now has 5GB in total. Time for a bit of speed comparison...
Opening the...
Hehe! Aye, it's doing fine. Not too far off it's biggy 36k service, so I'll have to start putting aside some cash for that.
Apart from the flaking on the rims, is your's ok?

Ah, you're a braver man that me - I'd never parked that close to the entrance with all the idiots in their company cars and stuff. They don't give a flying t0ss opening their doors on cars at the side of them.
I'm usually up near the petrol station bit. In fact, it's butty time now, so I'm out...
Me, going to the Parts Desk at Fiat and the bloke asking what car I had. "Punto GT Turbo" I responded and he flatly said that Fiat had never made a turbo version.
When I laughed and said they did, he got stern and stressed that they hadn't. Blokey's mate at the side of him sniggered and told...
But just to the left of that, was a Corsa VXR - and that looked ten times better! ;)
Finally sat in the Clio R27 that they had there. Great seating position - much, much better than the 182. If I put the seat fully back, it actually went too far back for me to feel comfortable with. The 182...
Lol - some good pics there, Greeni! :)
The comments about "huh huh - are those Clios breeding?" started to wear a bit thin after 36th time - but it was a good laugh. Quite a few people had some good comments and the mini-convoy attracted loads of attention when we moved near to the...
FFS - I only ever seem to spot RS's in bloody Asda car-parks! ;)
Anyways, spotted this one on the way out tonight - just loading up with some last minute things before we set off for Oulton Park in the morning.
Anyone off here? I didn't notice any stickers.
Not a fan of...
