That's what we're thinking too but the cams were slightly scored too, and they seem to get bigger the further away from the belts side

You need to drop the subframe which is a bit of an arse. I'd just take the engine out and swap over. Took mine out today in 2 hours so it's just as quick :)

Yea, that's also a horrendous place for the USB port. They just feel a little bit plasticy, especially with that gloss finish.
