You have pulled the brake pad carrier away from the caliper haven't you?
I made this mistake once you need to push the caliper and pull the carrier away from each other

Lol I've just looked out the window and mines the same.

Well of course it was part throttle but with more power the throttle is going to be more sensitive, especially without an LSD and tyres account for braking etc too.
Although I've always said its easier to drive in those conditions with R888's, more surface area!
They just break down, lots have done it recently.
Just keep cranking it until it starts, that'll bleed it nicely for you!
Injector is about £40ish new I think
