all depends on mileage/condition of ur's mate? if ur's is in good nick then no id say paying the extra is not worth it

vag engine is a vw 20v lump mate,thats what people usually mean,id say drop in a williams engine,coz i used to own a hybrid and value for money u wont get faster,even with just breathing mods 1/4 mile times were 14.4,then stripped went down to 14.1

Re: Creating a track **** id say a 16v mk1 clio,pick a early one up 4 peanuts now,strip it,lower the front on a set a of decent springs,get some good pads and some grippy tyres and u will have sooo much fun

it happened on mine,changed my upper o/s engine mount (the one that bolts to the inner wing) and thats fixed it

oh and is it best to only use gen renault oil filters too?

i can get it near enough free lol,il check on retail price for ya,its pretty good stuff,its what vw reccomends for all the performance cars like the golf and corrado vr6's

because i work for vw,i can get a cheap oil fully synth 5-40 oil called quantum synta gold,i gonna give this a try in my 98k 172 so il let u know how i get on
