Fecking awesome! :D
I'm glad we have the likes of Winston and Martin on here - to show us how the other half lives!
We're all sat in our pristine Mk2s and clearly missing out on half of the fun!
Nice work m8. What's next on the agenda???
D.
C.K - best of luck finding a 182, m8!
As for reliability, I use mine everyday too and from work and also socially. I've managed just over 29,000 miles so far since buying it from new in December 2004 and it's never let me down.
The things that have gone wrong have been three punctures (bad...
Looks like a good meet up!
Not 100% convinced about the white alloys Chris - much preferred the darker colour. But hey, it's your car - not mine! ;)
D.
^^^^ - that's a very good price for your age on a car like the 182. Some places wouldn't even quote me until I reached 30!
Your postcode clearly helps you out a lot! :D
Welcome to CS btw - another black golder to the forum!

In response to my earlier thread...

I tied-in a look at the front pads with an oil and filter change yesterday. And the results were horrendous.
I'm actually shocked and disgusted at myself that I've allowed them to get...
Sounds like you're well looked after there, m8 - well done!
You hear of the horror stories of people being qualified to the hilt and yet represent some mere minion cog in grand IT machine of the firm they work for.
Some of the people who have been on the same course as me, I feel really...
Had to be over 30 to test drive the V6 from Renault @ Manchester. Even then, we were the 'exception' to the rule in test driving it. I guess cars like that attract a lot of test pilots.
Lucky I'm an old fart, eh? ;)
D.
Is that on the IP version, m8?
We've got an old Nortel Compact Plus here which was collecting its pension when Noah was alive.
Switched to a Mitel 3300 now - can't believe the size difference! The entire phone switch is in like a 3U chassis.
D.
Yes - and by some margin. :D
I've been overtaken a few times on meets, where the extra power of the Mk2 V6 just pushes it along the straights.
Then you've got the looks, the rarity, the all-round package of something special - which all adds to the tick-boxes of V6s being a great car.
If...
As Gav says above, it's great if you're good at one, maybe two roles and know that sh1t inside and out. You limit yourself (obviously) to what's out there, but your potential to the right firm makes you gold-dust.
From here, we cover shedloads of different aspects from servers, desktops, PDAs...
Dunno about the side-strips, Mark - but I can recommend someone for your door badges.... ;)
Looking superb so far. You can't go wrong with a light-coloured car and dark wheels! :approve:
D.
You'll be fine, m8. I think to date, I'm the only person on CS who has had horrendous results from claying.
Odds like that are definitely in your favour for it to work ok!
D.
Some good pics in there - love that 306 Rallye and the orange/red Pug 205 - both look superb.
My two fave "WTF?" pictures have to be.....
^^^^^ - not the Cossie, but the Beemer at the side. Under car lights - oh dear, but correct me if I'm wrong; isn't that a HP sticker down near...
I have a couple of small stone chips on my car - two on the bonnet and one on the wing.
With a PC on the way, am I best staying well clear with the PC? Or just being extra careful?
Cheers,
D.
Holy sh1t!
1.47 dead at the moment. :(
I keep braking too early. Ideally, I would stretch out 2nd gear a bit too for some of the chicane bits. Default 2nd is too short and 3rd too long....
